The Indiana High School Democrats is a gateway for students and youth activists into the political process, while promoting the values and policies of the Indiana Democratic Party. Our members across Indiana work on the local level through their local chapters to engage fellow students and elect Democratic candidates to public office.

INHSD is committed to educating students about the importance of our political process and government. By organizing events for students, we encourage young people to become informed on key political issues affecting Indiana.

INHSD mobilizes high school Democrats across Indiana in local and state campaigns. We help coordinate events and initiatives to support Democratic candidates. By creating opportunities, we encourage members to advance Democratic values across Indiana.

INHSD is committed to advocating for progressive change through our legislative process in Indiana by organizing lobbying and drafting letters to elected officials. In addition, we propose state legislation that reflects the values of this organization and benefits high school Hoosiers.
