On January 28, the Indiana High School Democrats (INHSD) endorsed George Hornedo for the Democratic nomination for Indiana’s 7th Congressional District.

Hornedo is an Indianapolis native and a public servant at heart. He’s served in the Obama Administration and the Obama Foundation, working to deliver real results to Americans.

Indianapolis deserves leadership that listens and works hard for them. We believe that leadership lies in George. He brings bold new ideas Indiana needs now more than ever.

Representative Andre Carson has served his country amicably, but it is clear that the 7th District needs a fresh new face and new ideas. The same old is not working when the Trump Administration is dismantling our institutions.

Hornedo’s commitment to rebuilding the Democratic Party in Indiana and organizing Indianapolis again is what will lead us to a blue Indiana. We believe Hornedo can lead to a better Indianapolis, and it is for these reasons the INHSD endorses him.
